Has anyone heard of titanium blades? They last a very long time. I only have to change blades about once a year.

Where do you get them? I haven't seen any in our local stores, altho they do carry titanium scissors.

There is alot of discussion about the blades from Harbor Freight &Tool Co. Quilters are using these blades in 45mm rotary cutters, say they are sharp and work fine. Found in the stores in the carpet tools dept. Fit our regular cutters. If you have a store close go shopping or order, except there has been such a run on them by quilters they are on back order til Oct. Check these prices!

I got my first titanium blade at Walmart in Canada. The latest I got at Zellers (a Canadian store similar to Walmart) They cost about $6 but lasted so long it justified the price
