If you cut sandpaper with scissors they'll sharpen. I've been doing this for years; works great. I just make lots of snips down the paper

Thanks, I did finally remember to purchase this sharpener and boy does it do a good job on my cheap scissors, but doesn't even touch my old good pair that is so dull, so will take them in I guess.
