    I saw this pattern and it says it is a fast and easy pattern designed for beginners, children with supervision . There are 66 HST and 33 squares. I wonder what way she makes HST that are easy enough for children.

    my grand daughter when she was 4 made her 1/2 square triangle blocks by drawing a diagonal line across each light square with a ruler and pencil- then lining up the edge of the foot on the line and stitching on each side of the line- then she cut them in half with scissors -- finger pressed them open- and made pinwheels.
    seemed easy enough for her
