Hi, I live in Washington state, and every June we have a Western Washington Quilt Shop Hop that features fabrics specifically designed for this Shop Hop. This year's fabrics look pretty fun - http://www.washingtonquiltshophop.com/

My sister lives in Minnesota, and every August they have a "Quilt Minnesota" Shop Hop that features fabrics designed just for that shop hop - http://www.quiltminnesota.com/2011_Fabrics.htm.

I was wondering if there are any other shop hops in the United States that feature fabrics specifically designed for that Shop Hop. If so, could you please reply with the shop hop state, dates, and possibly links to the fabrics?

Thanks!

the poster's link doesn't work [due to a period at the end of the url], so here is a link that works

Thanks LaurieJane for the MN link. It sure looks like fun and is not that expensive [until one starts buying something at every shop :-) ]

The Tri-State Shop Hop in Ohio does most of the time. Don't have the other info for you....

I was just in the cities yesterday afternoon catching a flight back home to Seattle. I made a Quilt Minnesota quilt for my sis who lives outside of St. Cloud with the 2010 fabrics. Last year fabrics were all blue. I wish I had taken a picture of the quilt before I sent it to her. For being all blue fabrics, it did look nice.

Let me edit that previous post to say "I was just in the twin cities".

It was rainy and wet yesterday in Minneapolis :XD:

If I can't make it out to visit my sister during August, then I have my sis just run to the quilt shops in her area to pick up some blocks and fabric. Usually when she does this and sends the fabric out to me, she also sends extra fabric for me to sew a project for her

Vermont has a shop hop in March, 17 shops state wide, usually for 10 days to allow travel around the state in possible bad weather. We also have specially designed fabrics for the hop. I don't know of a link, but will look into it. They have always been batiks and this year had a butterfly motif.
