Hi - Some people have already put pictures of quilts they made for raffles an auctions for charity. If you have one, please post a pic here so we cn all see it. Here's mine, made for a children's hospice fundraising auction. I did it in August 2008, a variation of Disappearing 9s. I haven't heard how much $$ it made, but I hope it was a lot!!

I love the D9P that I learned only since I joined the board. This version is beautiful. How is it different from the standard D9P? Did you flip the blockes differently? And the colors are gorgeous.

We just had a Charity event on Friday and I donated 3 quilts, some aprons, and a wallhanging. Although everyone raved about how nice they were....they only went for about $30 a piece. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement.

Demshine, know the feeling. The one I showed above went for only about $100, and there was more fabric in it than that. But, it went for a good cause, so I can't feel bad.

This version of D9s is called "Tossed Nines", and the blocks are twisted and turned howev3er I think they look best. No pattern. Thanks for the great compliments!! I enjoy this board so much -- lots to learn and share!
