Found this thread from last year and loved the Christmas quilts. I guess I need to continue working on mine. I had started the Farmer's Wife Quilt in Christmas fabrics

Looks like you can still purchase the fusible applique here:

I think what you do is find a multi-colored background fabric you like, then hot-iron fuse the black applique on top.

I wasn't a member last Christmas, glad you found the thread, it was great seeing the quilt show. I always had plans of making a Christmas quilt but just never got around to it, this year I completed 2 tops. Now all I have to do is quilt them.
