Everytime I set up to start my first quilting project something comes along and stops me, SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Frustrating.
First time I tried to start my Granddaughter became ill. Second time I was all set up and Daughter fell and hurt her foot and couldn't walk, so off to the local emergency department where they said she had fractured her 5th metatarsul in her left foot so she ended up with a back slab Then we had to drive her to work as she is unable to drive then I had to drive her to the fracture clinic which took several hours, now she is wearing a support boot.
I can not see me getting started for at least another two weeks. Oh Bum.
Never mind people are more inportant, but one of these days I will get started.

Hopefully the frustrations are waning, things are much calmer now, Daughter and granddaughter had to live with us for the first few days so we could help out but they have gone back home today. So I feel a bit of sewing coming on.

Sorry for all the frustrations!!! Why don't you buy some fat quarters, cut them up into 2" or so squares, and hand stitch them together?? That'll give you SOME satisfaction of being able to start a quilt and you can do it in waiting rooms, etc.
