sign for childs rooms
I embroidered her name and going to leave 2" from top and bottom of name also 2" on the sides. I have small border around the entire piece which measures 6" x 12" I will also do a bigger border around all
I would like to have it hang by a cord what do I need for the backing so it will hand nice

I have seen what looks to be like a square fabric folded in half so it looks like half of a half square triangle. They baste it on both top corners before attaching the binding around the piece you are making. I small dowel is inserted into the corner triangle to hang with a cord. I hope this makes sense.
