    Default Silicone Spray

Do you use it for your sewing table or when FMQ? I bought a used Koala cabinet and then had to buy a new insert to fit my machine but my fabric seems to drag on it. Just wondering about the spray since I've never used it. It seems a little hard to find around here so where do you get it, if you use it??

You might want to look into the polishing kit that's made specifically for the acrylic tables & inserts:

Unlilke the spray, which might leave a residue which could be picked up by your fabric, this actually smooths the surface.

You can also use auto polish or furniture polish (Pledge, white can).

I have the silicone spray that is safe to use around the fabrics and on vinyl tables and I like it. So does my husband for lubing stuff, like down riggers for fishing etc.....wants me to order his own can now! This is the one I use. http://www.nancysnotions.com/product...icone+spray.do

I find that silicone spray works wonders on certain batiks that don't behave nicely when I'm quilting. If I get skipped stitches, oftentimes spraying the silicone on top of the quilt will solve that problem.

I guess I am lucky because I have never had to use any sprays. I use the metal attach bed that came with my Bernina 1530.
