Hi everyone,
Awhile back I asked about a fairly easy stocking pattern, and so many people were very helpful. . .thanks so much!!
Now Im looking for a fairly easy pattern for an apron. Not just a tie at the waist, but one that goes around the neck.
Any help would be greatly appreciated...but remember, Im a novice.
Thanks in advance.
Jackie

Simplicity pattern #7889. I've had it for a few years. I plan on making one for MIL for Christmas. We'll see what happens. If you hear screaming...it's just me in Iowa. Hope this helps!!

a billion apron patterns all waiting for you!!! I made five this year so far, and am making one more as a Christmas gift.. I prefer the bib on top too that is where all those darned grease stains on my tshirts hit! I do advise however you chose a busy or darker pattern so when they get cookified' with goodies from the stove they dont show the dirt as fast.

A lot of thrift stores will give you their blue jeans for free if you tell them you are making a jean quilt from them. There is usually a pile in the back of ripped or torn jeans that cannot go on the rack and most thrift stores are more then happy to "gift" someone with these.Originally Posted by Margie
Love the site, tyvm. Did you notice the jeans apron....good way to recycle. Thrift stores have good selection in lots of sizes too. Margie
