Has anyone found a website that shows the new Singer 160 machine coming out for their 160th anniversary. Were any of the specs listed, does it come with attachments? Supposedly it was unveiled at the ISMACS convention this past Sunday. Thanks, Libber

There was a recent thread here that discussed this and has a link to a picture. I'm sure if you do a search for it it will pop up.

Hi Pat, thank you for your quick response. I searched topics, recent topics and could not find anything. Maybe I am a computer dunce.

Quite frankly, anything I've read so far about the newest featherweight has not been positive. I have yet to see one in person to check it out.

A local Singer dealer called Singer to get info on them...was told they would be sold at Wal Mart sometime early 2012. I sure do like the looks of it.

If they are going to be sold in Walmart, I for one will definately check it out. I think they are nice looking, can't wait to actually see it in person

I hope it has metal parts and isn't cheap plastic!

I don't believe they are going to be out until early 2012. They got them in Austrailia- what is up with that ? LOL, don't think they are going to be as good as the old Featherweights, but it would be fun to try one out...

i look forward to seeing the new machine but i don't think it will be metal if they are selling it at walmart - walmart likes to adhere to a strict price guideline and metal machines cost upward of $700.
