Are there any other quilters out there who find themselves sewing every day.... but still sleep under store-bought blankets? My hubby finally yelled out to me today "MAKE SOMETHING USEFUL!" I told him I do, I just give those big ones away. Whoops! I guess I'd better finish one for our bed now, huh?

I gave up on store bought. I'm never happy at what I get for the price I paid. Now I even got my DH. DD, DGS spoiled. And to little time on my hands.

Ditto! But I do have one in the works - just needs borders & quilting...I keep putting it aside for other projects. I've got to finish it!

Boy, I was wondering if it was just me. Everything that I've made large has been for someone out of this house. I have just a couple of wallhangings that I don't even use. Not my taste anymore.

Come on ladies and gentlemen. You deserve to sleep under a beautiful quilt. Make one for yourself first. Even my cat has a quilt for his favorite resting place.

Me too! Store bought & on sale. LOL But I do have 2 queen size quilts in progress. Plan to keep both. One only needs a final border, then I can finish it.

Guilty, but my dream quilt is in the planning stage. I even bought all the fabric, so next year after I retire, it will be the first quilt I make. :-D

I do not have a store bought quilt in the house. My beds (2) have my hand made quilts on them. and my kids all have quilts on their beds. But I have been retired many years and have been makeing quilts for a loooong time.
