I've had one for years and never used it. I have issues with my ruler sliding and being inaccurate so Im definately going to try this ruler again.
Her video makes cutting strips so easy.

I just read this topic and decided to look and see what this ruler was.
I just saw the demo on Utube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pETsJf2nNQE.
I had been debating getting one of those machines to cut my strips, but after reading all your comments, and seeing the demo....this ruler is for me! I'm ordering one today.
THANKS! :-D

LOVE mine!!! When (or if) it wears out, I'll be back buying another one in a hot minute. I consider this my favorite gadget.

Question.......why would this help in not getting the dreaded wave at the seam? I thought that was due to inacurate folding before cutting.
I'm a big fan of ripping vertical because of having that wave too many times to count.
I've looked at the shapecut video and am impressed. I didn't know you could cut shapes with it. But will i still get the dreaded wave?

I have had my slotted ruler for years and it is the only ruler I use. I might as well get rid of the rest of my rulers.

I used the June Taylor Ruler all the time & loved it but I bought my own Xmas present this year & it was the Quilt Cut 2 and I used it for everything. You can cut 6 layers and nothing moves, IT'S SUPER>

I think I may have the shape cut ruler. I'm going to get it out and try it again. I also like the new half square and quarter square ruler too. Does Joanns carry this one too?
