Very nice!!! These bags can be used for a lot of things - even as an everyday purse. I belong to a volunteer group in Fanwood NJ and we make quilts for sick kids and abused women.

Your bags are so nice and I am sure greatly appreciated! Way to show love and caring.

I wanted to say thank you! I work at a shelter and when we get these kind of gifts with toiletries and the such, the ladies just love them! They feel so special.

These bags look a lot like the ones I used to do for baby shower gifts so moms could have a small bag to hold just a couple of diapers and maybe a change of clothes and a bottle for those quick trips or the church nursery where you don't need all the stuff in a big diaper bag.

They are very quick and easy to do. Just two identical pieces of fabric (one is the lining) and whatever you use for the straps. A pocket is easily added to either inside or outside if you wish.

The bags are awesome. How much fabric does each one take?

I presented this idea to our quilt group yesterday and that is going to be our mission for this Christmas. Thanks for the idea. Last year we made placemats for the Senior Apt. building in our area and they loved them. Everyone got a Christmas placemat.
