Sounds like a very nice little room for sewing. I wish my stash would fit along one wall in that size room...I have TOO much fabric!

Sounds like a perfect place. Without my DH, I would probably do the same thing. God bless you and keep sewing!

So sorry for your loss but very happy on your find. What a wonderful apartment to have such a large closet and to still have your peg board to keep him with you while you sew.

Great idea! My DH passed just over 3 years ago so after much pondering I just recently took my formal, useless living room and made myself a wonderful sewing room/woman cave. works great when my friends come over we sure enjoy our helping each other with our projects and checking out new gagets. Hope you enjoy your new life style. It may be in my future.

Good for you!! It sounds like you have the perfect area for sewing. You made the right move. If anything happened to my husband I don't think I would want the responsibility for keeping up a home. You were smart to wait and think this through. Good luck and have fun quilting!!

Clever use of space. Wish you had pictures. I have a tiny bedroom as my sewing room and it works for me. I was just looking at Studios Magazine and some of those spaces are huge. One was made from a ten car garage. I can't even imagine having that much space although I would love to have a large island cutting table with storage.
