Small World, Kaye Wood
#1
I recently got an email newsletter from Kaye Wood over Memorial weekend and she mentioned she had a son who had retired from the Air Force and now taught at the Air Force Academy. So I sent her an email telling her my son also went there and hoped she had a chance to visit the Academy.
She forwarded the message to her son and his wife......and her daughter in law, just happened to be someone I was quite close to who worked at the Air Force Academy and had lost contact with about 12-13 years ago, when her husband was reassigned! I was so surprised to get an email from her telling me she couldn't believe I was the person who wrote to Kaye!
What a small world, but a great one!

That is really neat to hear. The older I get the smaller the world seems to get. I just recently found out that a dear friend that I have known for almost 48 years is on my family tree on my Daddy's side. Way out there on a small twig, but still on the tree. Now if I could only find Davy Jones, all would be good! lol
