Can anyone refer me to an easy-to-make snowman pattern-12and 1/2" block? I have found several pictures on the internet, but have decided I would do well to at least try to find a pattern.
It can be paper-pieced, block, applique, ect; not particular.
If so, would you just send a pm?thanks
    Mariah.

I went to coloring pages and got a pic that way... will use that for applique

Applique is easy, cut out the pic , make a template, trace that on the smooth side of winder under or heat and bond, cut that out ( outside the lines make it a bit bigger) then press that to the wrong side of fabric. Cut that out on the lines, press that to the correct side of the fabric, stitch down

Have you thought about a focus fabric with snowmen? It would also make a good block.

great idea! I had forgotten about coloring books. That sounds so easy, even I can probably do it in not much time. I hate to buy a pattern, since they are $8-15.00.
I had seen several pics on the internet that I thought I could copy, but this is even better since I am not that articitic.
    Thanks again!
    Mariah.

Thanks soooo much! I think I can draw free-hand one of them and make this project. I really like the first one the best, but copied them all to have for later, maybe.
    Thanks again.
