Omnigrid makes a folding work center, cutting on one half, ironing side on the other half. It folds neatly, closes with velcro and has two carrying handles. It is just great for classes and travelling.

I bought three of the June Taylor ones at Walmart a few weeks ago for quilting gifts during this next year. I have a guild Secret Pal Birthday and two sewing buddies Birthdays this spring. They were marked down to $14.99 and that's a bargain.

David, the one you're talking about is probably called a Cut and Press board. I have two, a 12" square and a 12X18". I like the bigger one better. I always take it to classes or Midnight Quilters. That way I can cut and iron right at the table I'm sitting at. If you get it at Jo Ann's, use a coupon as they are expensive.
