I'm going with the football fans who say take the green and gold off. To a true dyed-in-the-wool fan it looks like someone who didn't know the team colors made it. I don't think it will get used the way you are hoping if the colors are wrong. Especially being the colors of such a serious rival.

I like #2 as my first choice and #3 as my second choice. Good Luck with your decision! What ever you choose will be great!

?? I didn't know Green Bay was the same as the Vikings!

Gold , Purple & White are Vikings the green was added just to off set all the yellow and Purple. More as a representation of the playing field.
I'll have to go look at the Green Bay colors to see how close the colors are.
I showed this quilt to my husband...and he said..oh no.. a viking in the middle of a packer quilt..
We are true packer fans..his neice married a viking fan (can't fault her completely ha ha ha) so we know the viking colors are more purple..including their uniforms. But I do like number 3 set up more..but the viking on white background does really pop.

Great job on the quilt so far..and good luck on your final design. I hate so many choices... lolol

I would leave out the green if you're doing Minnesota. Green and gold are Green Bay Packer's colors and they're practically mortal enemies.
LOL I take it that will cause a lot of interesting conversation if I leave it in then. LOL Still throwing things around so I still have time to think about it but thanks for the heads up on that because I really didn't know that.
