so, show us what quilting goody santa brought you!

I got the Gidget portable sewing table...it is too tall for me to use my stability chair at, so I am testing out all of the chairs in the house to find the perfect fit!

What I got wasn't for sewing, but it's a remote starter for my Grand Cherokee! Which was what I really wanted but didn't expect to get!

I got a lot of quilty gifts. The new Go dies, a portable sewing table, jelly rolls, layer cakes, several new quilt books with specialty rulers and my stocking was filled with thread and decorative buttons. I signed up for a BOM for 2012 from Homestead Hearth. My DGD gave me a set of watercolor pencils for fabric painting and lots of zebra print yarn so I could crochet an afghan for her. LOL.
    Got fabric?

I have been looking at a quilt kit at LQS, but it is $100 and then I have to buy the book with the pattern. They are going to have a sale starting tomorrow, so Santa and I are going to go get it when the sale is on. I hate paying that much, but it is Batik material and quite large.

I got several nice pantographs, extensions for my cutting table legs, and a 3/8 inch thick piece of plexiglass for drawing designs for quilting. I also got a beautiful wall hanging from one of my quilting friends as part of our guild Christmas exchange. Wow!

I got an HQ Avante a few months ago, so that is most of mine, but I did get all the HQ rulers to unwrap.

I decorated our office for work and my boss thanked me for "boosting morale" by giving me a $40.00 Joanne's gift card-I am still in shock.

I got a SewEzi portable sewing table!!!! (from the hubby and kids) Wahoo!!! Ok, it wasn't under the tree, a picture of it and a note in a nice Christmas tin was under the tree instead. I get it sometime this week as it had to be ordered in and hadn't made it before Christmas.

My friend gave me 3 UK cross stitch magazines as well, so craftwise, I made out great.

    Merry Christmas everyone,

My kids got me a Kindle Fire, husband didn't get me anything, but I wasn't expecting anything either. It would have been a big surprise to get something from him.

I love seeing what everyone else got! I got the following:

Five books: A Passion for Quilting by Lisa Bergene, Sew! by Cath Kidston, The Essential Sampler Quilt Book by Lynne Edwards, Terrific Patchwork Bags by Susan Briscoe, and Martha Stewart's Encyclopedia of Sewing and Fabric Crafts. The Cath Kidston book came with fabric, notions, and templates for making a bag, too.
    Fat Quarters
    Space Pen
Book: The Pyramid by Henning Mankell, one of my favorite crime writers

    Great stuff!

A completed new sewing/quilting room. I plan to post pictures after I get it organized, which may take a couple of months, I have so much fabric to fold.
