I too do not have any friends that quilt. I also am retired on disability (so on a fixed income) and don't have a car, so it's hard to get around (especially to LQS). I am very thankful for thisQB. You all are my QB (quilting buddies).

how about a cyber quilt guild?

I don't belong to one. I know there is one about 20 min. from me but they are the quilt police. I'm afraid of them. Maybe this could be a guild where quilt police are not allowed.

Kind of like a "girls" clubhouse when you were a kid. But we allow guys. Even though we probably were right way back then- they probably had cooties. And where do the cooties go when suddenly they appeal to us? One of life's mysteries best left to another time.

I always say my quilting friends. I say friends because so many have taught me so much on how to improve my quilting and when I have a personal problem you all help me thru it.

It is that to me, also FRIENDS, so many things come to mind. I love all the topics, non-quilting as well b/c we get to share our femaleship (not sure that's a word but it is now lol) And we have some guys here too! Amazing fun.
I belong to Alanon- now THAT'S also a support group!!! But the QB is my new fav thing to get online for. I feel that I know all of you!

My online quilting friends is what I generally say. Pat just calls you "my QB friends" and when he does something quilt-related he always asks me if I told the QB about it.

About any of them apply here. I do like QB Friends or QB Buddies.
