I made 5 squares of scrappy maple leaves...one yellow, green, brown, orange and red...They have light background and I need help on how to put them together and what to sash with or border...I want a table runner...but can't seem to find just the right fabric. I still have plenty of the background fabric but the leaves were made from scrapes.
Thanks for your suggestions...I will try to add a picture in a few minutes.

What about the fabric with leaves in it to border it in? They've got some beautiful stuff out there right now!

Do you have pics of your leaves? I too think a autumn border with leaves in it would look great but would like to see pic's of the leaves you made.

Depending on the size of your blocks, what about putting them on point with setting triangles?

    Finally got the pictures.
The red is a darker red, bluer red than the pic portrays
I think I have found a brown tone on tone to use as a background...but would love to hear arrangement ideas and any color background ideas.

I would use tan or beige background. I would stagger the leaves. They are realy cool by the way. Make it simple. Brown background would work too. How big are those blocks by the way?

These would be so cute set with log cabin blocks in the fall colors.

The blocks are 8 inches...can't remember is they have been squared up yet. The color is going to get sewed on.
They were paper pieced so I think they are square now.
thanks for the suggestions....keep them coming.
