someone else took credit for one of our member's great tips! (oops! not really)

It's a great tip and my grandmother used the same basting method, only she used a glass egg instead of a marble. I think anyone that is creative and resourceful would have the same idea come to them to make things easier. :D

I used to babysit for the 7 children who lived next door to us when I was a teenager. The youngest was still in nappies (diapers) and in those days the nappies were really bulky and I mentally invented nappies that were shaped in at the baby's legs (the way they're made now). I remember seeing the ad on tv a few years later for MY nappies and being so annoyed that someone had stolen MY brilliant idea.
I think it's a case of great minds think alike...

I saw 2 of my ideas on Fons and Porters tips fairly recently and I had posted them on a forum quite some time ago. If it had been one i would have thought it was a co incidence, but they were both on the same show. But oh well,,,,all the contributer got was a subscription to their magazine, and I'm not nuts about it any way,,LOL! ( They were using an emery board to draw diagonal lines on HSTs,and using a flat piece off of a clothespin for a wooden iron) I had meant to send the ideas in myself.
