To someone who is looking for a cutting table:::

I was at Shopko yesterday and saw a great table for this. It was in the furniture section (I think in the already assembled section). It was meant to be a kitchen island, but would make an ideal cutting table. It is like a deep kitchen cabinet with small enclosed shelves on each side with a BIG top on it that would hold a large cutting mat. Very sturdy and at counter height or maybe a little higher. Orig price 299.99 but on sale for 179.99.

It is much sturdier than the cutting table I bought at Joanns. I would have bought this in a minute if I didn't have 2 cutting, working tables already.

Worth a look if you have a Shopko store near you and need a great cutting, storage unit. Good Luck!!

Quiltwoman: I was so excited when I saw the "table" at Shopko -- after checking their web site I find they have only 133 stores, in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Montana, Idaho, Nebraska, Iowa and Michigan (possibly in a couple of other states), so a very limited region. This item is not one of the FEW advertised on their web site, so can't even post a link so you can see it. Shipping would probably be a cost factor, so guess this would only work for those near an actual store location.
