I was making the same quilt and donated the extras to somebody on the board teaching Girl scouts to sew.

Can you sew them together to make strip borders? Kind of like stacked Chinese coin strips. Another idea would be to sew them together lasagna style and use it as the back of the quilt or partially as the back of the quilt. I agree that is not a well thought out pattern. Hope you can incorporate them.

Is there enough to make a piano key border? You can put a 2" border around your quilt with a matching fabric. After that, cut your bali pop fabric into 5" strips and put them together to make the outsider border. I hope you will have enough fabric for that.

Well one theme in this thread is obvious, quilters never met a fabric scrap they didn't like. I agree with everyone that said the leftovers are just the begining of new project. I find being able to make a new project totally from my stash very satisfying.

Your quilt is beautiful, love the colors and how they blend.

I agree! My storeroom is now over run with scraps that belong to my church's Ladies organization. I have 3 big bins. So I decided to make a Trail Mix quilt with it. This way I can get a lot of the ladies working on it! it has 5 different blocks ranging from an easy 4 patch to a triple 9 patch. So even the newbies could help . Maybe able to make a couple quilts! So no scrap needs to go unused!
