    Default Spoonflower fabrics?

Has anyone ordered the fabric from here? I have a commission for an "I Love Lucy" quilt and this seems to have the only affordable fabric. Just wondering about the quality of the reproduction of pictures.
    Thanks.

Never heard of them but they do have some nice prints-let us know if you order and what you think.

Are you uploading your own pictures, or ordering one of their existing designs?

Spoonflower has always been honest about their printing results, which I commend and respect them for. They do warn that some fading may occur after washing, especically with blacks. They have specific care instructions you should follow for best results. I've been very pleased with the fabric I've purchased from them.

If you're printing photographs, the results will be as good as, if not better than, printing yourself at home with the help of JetSet and such.

You can also order a sample swatch.

I have designed and ordered my own fabrics from Spoonflower. I love the results I received.

I have ordered from them. It was a cotton jersey and was really nice in color and quality. I waited until I got an email alert for a sale and then pulled the trigger on the purchase. They had a BOGO fat quarter sale this summer. I wish I'd ordered some Harry Potter prints for a quilt my DS is working on.

I don't know about Spoonflower or the quilt pattern you will make, but I do know there is "I Love Lucy" fabric available. Already designed and printed, just waiting for someone. It may not suit your purposes, but thought I should mention it.
