Ladies, I am going bonkers tonight. Just about ready to lose it.

I have Eleanor Burns Quilts thought the seasons book sitting in front of me. I am making the Morning Star wall hanging. So far, so good, everything is cut out. Chain Blocks sewn together. Looking good. Then its making the Star Point. Still, so far , so good. They are finished, cut like it saysand pressed the way she wants them.

OK, now, I have to squar it up with a Large Geese Ruler. Ok, I have so darn many rulers. but not with her name on it. One is a Companion Angle and one other is an Easy Angle, both by Darlene S. Is one of these a Geese Ruler.? I went looking on line and can't tell if the thing is square with lines or a Angle.

By now, I am sure your are all smiling... But, can anyone help me to understand how to do this?

It has been a long day. Worked outside in the yard, as it was beautiful out. Started sewing after supper. Must just be tired, or brain dead for the time being. LOL.

I forsure won't do anything more tonight. Maybe with you ladies help and a new day tomorrow, things will go better.
Thanks
Barb

I'm sorry I don't have an answer for you, wish I did. I was just writing to let you know I feel your pain. Our craft is sometimes very frustrating. :D

Not sure if this helps, but there is a good picture of the ruler at this site...

it appears to be rectanguar with angles for flying geese only on it.

That is a special ruler for Flying Geese. I don't have one but have seen it mentioned from time to time.

I have the flying geese rulers. there are 2 -small and large.
You can buy them at Joanns . I got mine at a guilt shop though.
If you look in the book, it does tell you how to make the flying geese
if you don't have the rulers. I like the rulers, it does make it a little easier, but not necessary.

Thanks Ladies for all your Help. I did go on the Chat site Sunday afternoon, and asked the same question. I believe it was Yvonne & Leeslie that both gave me directions for making them using a regular ruler.

Thank you, Thank you, it worked, and all 20 are are together. I made my self notes on how to do it for the next time. They will be going into a wall hanging, and when ever it is finished, will post a photo.
I just love this site, with all the helpful hints and information.
June in CT. Thanks for leading me here.
