I have found that I have to add a "smidgen" when I cut out my pieces. Then, I just have a little bit to trim off. When I do use my Baby Lock, it has a 1/4 inch foot; it is wonderful! But I use my Kenmoor normally; thread is much cheaper and I can operate it better & faster.

Do you do the 3 strip test to check for 1/4" accuracy? Do you press or iron your seams?

I sew each seam and use an iron to press before sewing the next seam. I have no luck with finger pressing.
