I would suppose it would depend on who it is for. If it is for a guy, I would say wavy lines (kinda like a brook). But, if it is for a woman, I would say concentric circles would be wonderful.

I would do one outline row around each seam and in the border. Probably using my quarter inch foot. My DGD wants an all plaid quilt and I am thinking this might be a great pattern for that! I love it!

Maybe an angular spiral echo in each of the center blocks, no quilting in the middle colors and then echo fill the larger section of each block. Celebrate the geometry!
