Default Looking for rollers on chair

Haven't been on for quite some time but awhile ago someone had posted a link where someone was making rollers for chairs that had tennis balls on top of the roller to keep the chair leg in & to make the chair movable. I think it was some place that was doing this for a fundraiser. Does anyone remember this post???

Didn't see that thread but is this what you had in mind? I guess you may be able to put the balls over small castors to stop chairs rolling around too.

Was this the thread? It's not a very long thread, but it's the only one I've found.

I am curious as to where you find the rollers.

the 6 inch tri dolly is what you are looking for. They run about $7-8 dollars, if you don't mind the steel colored ones, Harbor freight has them for $4.99. The other ones are black, you will see when you google them.

They are to make any chair to be able to roll and the balls are to keep the chair legs from sliding around on the rollers.

My hubby and I did this too. A word of caution to anyone wanting to try this . . . make sure you get heavy duty tri-casters. I thought the ones we got off Amazon would do the trick, but they bent.

Thanks everyone for your help! I think I'll see if my uncle can make these for me.
