I guess I need to shop better! Where do you find $1/yard sales??

Early on in my quilting I used to think how nice it was to see all those scrappy quilts with so many different fabrics in them. I thought how expensive it must be to make one of those. Now, years later, I find it easy to make a quilt with scraps...... The quilt in my avatar was from scraps... only had to buy the black. So, it just happens, like magic!!

Lol, same here. If I really like it, I buy a yard not knowing what I'm going to make with it! :)

Well my fabric collection has taken over my linen closet, two bookcases and various underbed boxes. I think that could qualify as a stash. Never met a sale I didn't like.

I was visiting my daughter and she said, "I want to show you something". She proudly brought out a plastic container and put it in the center of the room. What could I say, Nice plastic". She said, "Mommmmm this is my stash!" So they can come in all sizes but they have one thing in common, we all love ours.

What one person calls a stash maybe something totally different for another person. I have alot of fabric but I don't necessarily think of it as a stash persay
