Another altenative
Since I have several machines, I bought a roll of led lights and the power supply and the connectors on eBay. One roll of lights did all of my machines with much left over. I did have to solder the strip to the power source. Not necessarily a pretty set up but sure gives the light. The roll of lights was about $10, each power supply about $5each and the adapters about $2 for all of them. The roll of lights are supposed to be self sticking but they need more goop. I used that 3m double sided tape to put them on machine.

I have the LED strip of 6 lights mounted under the harp of my machine. They give great light, but when quilting and pushing the fabric under the harp, it pulls the light off. I've tried double sided tape, command strips, Velcro and glue. Nothing sticks to keep the lights in place. I need all the light I can get.

Good idea but I don't want duct tape on my machine. I bought the same as Leah Day has but I forgot the brand name. All the cords and switches are white color and not intrusive. I used Jewel It glue to hold my lights in place. Holds great when pushing or pulling the quilt through. There is a big difference in LED strip light quality brightness and safety so be sure of what you are buying.

The one you have (based on the price) is what I have & love it. My issue with Leah's new one is the outrageous price. Maybe it's just me but I find that high. I like the idea of additional illumination though. I also clamped a gooseneck lamp to the shelf above my machine that I can adjust.
