Default Stipple quilting creating some .. Unique.. Patterns Lol

I am stipple quilting a boarder. i starting seeing unexpected shapes in the stipple, like seeing a cloud shaped like a teapot. It is like an ink blot test, i see dinosaurs, waves, animals ... And the i saw it. My stippling looks like .. Well ... Lets just say it made me blush and realize it has been quite some time since my last date. Now i just keep laughing every time i look at this quilt! So do i keep it? Rip it out? Im sure my therapist would have something to say about taking a seem ripper to some of these .... Shapes. Hehehe

Keep it as my own private joke or rip it?

Keep it! It'll bring a smile to your face everytime you see all those unintentional "shapes", lol

I would keep the shapes also - no one else will look close enough to see them - they will be sort of a hidden signature.

Some of my stippling has the same shapes. Unless it is truly obvious, I leave them in.

You're the only one who will notice it. Unless it is going to a national quilt show....remember that incident where a quilt was taken down because it had a fabric with tiny pee pee 's on it? I don't know if the correct term is allowed but you get the idea.

My friend who is an artist and possible future art teacher (my guess is she will end up coaching drama instead) is forever seeing things like that.

Just call it your "Highlights Quilt". Don't know if you remember that kid's magazine, but they had a hidden pictures section in every magazine. lol

That's hilarious! Depends on who the quilt is for and most importantly who you point it out to.
