On another topic a stitch in the ditch foot was recommended. I have never heard of it. Sooo I googled. It is called a stitch in the ditch/ edge joining foot. I have an Elna 7300 and started looking thru my feet to see if there was something like that in there. No such thing BUT it has an overlock foot. It has the little guidelike thingy, I put it on and moved the needle over to 4 and I don't even need to guide it. It stays in the ditch. yippee

I have a Husqvarna and their walking foot has different attachments that snap on, one is a stitch in the ditch, one is 1/4 inch, one is embroidery and one standard. Its great, I can do all sorts of different things with my walking foot. Love it

Wow this would really be nice. I'm going to have to find one for my Brother short shank. Hope I can find one.

I have a Husqvarna too with a walking foot, but mine is older, a Rose purchased in the 1990's. Wondering if my walking foot has this feature, or is this something new?

I think it is fairly new, but a wonderful invention. The new walking foot is not cheap, but such a great help, it might fit your machine tho
