Default Stitch Regulator problems

I purchased a stitch regulator for my Brother machine. I have it attached to a Grace frame. The regulator worked and I finished one quilt. Now, a few months later, I have tried to use it and it will not work. I unplugged it so I don't think a power surge would be the problem. Would anyone have had this problem before. My machine works by plugging the foot pedal up so I know it is not the machine.

Is it possible it somehow became disconnected from the sewing machine? Is it making good contact with all the rails? Have you tried cleaning your rails off. Don't know if your frame is wood or metal and really I am only taking wild stabs at what could be wrong. I think your best bet may be to go to where you bought it from and see if they can troubleshoot with you.
