Default To stop or to continue

This is my take on Bonnie Hunters Unity pattern; I changed the center as I felt that the original was just to jumbled. I’m second guessing my choice for the solid black batik as a constant and before it goes any further I wanted to get your thoughts. Im happy to stop where its at and turn it into a baby quilt or a wall hanging, stop and start again or continue on?

I think it is very pretty just the way it is and would make a beautiful wall hanging or baby quilt. If I were making this one as a full size I would start over with color choices that I really like . Here the quilt stands on its won beauty. Just my thoughts always yours to continue or not to continue.

It's too busy for me, but it's a personal decision. Your work is beautiful, as usual.

I like it just the way it is. Very beautiful. Time to stop on it and make it a wall hanging

The black does seem to dominate the other colours but you could still continue if you lightened up on the solid black and added a black with more pattern to tie it together.

Your points are beautiful by the way. I would soften it up by surrounding it with more of the gray and white and just a smidgen of black.. Its a nice design but needs softer solids to break it up. If you don't want to do that, I think the size and design is good for a wall hanging.

I really like it as it is. If you decide to continue, what color border were you thinking of using?

I had to look up the pattern because I was unfamiliar with it. I like yours a lot better!!

I love what you have done. Bonnie's center wasn't to my liking. It was too jumbled looking. Yours is much clearer and more of a spotlight. Definitely keep on going. Your center fits in perfectly with the intent of the pattern. I think the rest of the rows will compliment the center and make a beautiful quilt. Please continue sharing pictures.
