because you can't stack them (ruins blades) this is a toughie. I use wire folder racks from an office supply store to store all except the Qubes. the smaller dies are in these racks setting upright on tubs under my cutting table (the tubs hold other stuff) and the long ones I have on these racks on the wall.

Mine are stored on end in dish drainer type rack inside a deep drawer. The few larger ones are stored on the bookcase on end like books.

I have a long L shape table. My Go is on the little end and my dies are in holders on the long end. I have the long dies standing up at the back of the table, leaning against the wall. One rack holds all the mats. If you are toting the Go and mats the carrier Accuquilt sells would be the best option.

I purchased some Iris Connecting Book Bins for another purpose. I found they are perfect for the Go dies except the long strip dies (which I keep standing up at the side of my closet between the bookshelf and wall).

I had my husband build a puzzle rack/shelf for our granddaughter's wooden puzzles. Then I realized the same idea would work for my long strip dies that are so heavy to move all together. It works great! He made it so they have the short end sticking out and the entire box of shelves fits neatly under the table holding the die cutting machine. I keep the mat at the top, so it is easy to grab each time.

I've done quite a few things for storage and this is the best one, for me, that I have come up with so far. They are in a cabinet that I already had in my sewing room, and I labeled them all so they are easy to locate.
