Have any of you used the "Strip-It" fabrics by Marcus, or other similar fabrics? These are fabrics with printed stripes, about 2.5" - 3.5" wide, running parallel to the selvedges.

If so, what did you make from them?

Here's a picture so you know what I'm talking about.

I used a Christmas print to make folded fabric ornaments. They were 2.5 and that was what I needed. Worked great!

I would have no idea what to use them for but they sure are pretty. I'd buy it and let it age a while in my stash. :-D

I have seen the fat quarter ones. There is 4 prints on a yard in FQ size. I have never seen the strips but if they are 2.5 then I would use them like jelly rolls. Lots of Jelly roll patterns.

How about a tube quilt. Or any pattern you'd put together using strips. Maybe for a border like piano keys. I'll have to look for that fabric. Might be good to have in the stash for a quick quilt.
