Strips that Sizzle
#41
Because of the way it was layed out I had to be careful to get the right pieces that went together, which meant a lot of numbering and pinning. Plus after the blocks were cut I had to be careful not to distort them with all the bias edges. It was a lot of back and forth from the design wall and the sewing machine.

Margaret Miller of the Seattle area wrote the book and introduced the pattern in the late 80s. I went to a workshop after she spoke at out Guild and made it as a begging quilter and several times since. I enjoy working with colors and this pattern blends and mixes so nicely. It is so easy to do but makes the quilter happy with the results. You did a beautiful job and wasn't it a fun one to make? Congratulations on a great happy quilt.
