This Clemson University grad/fan could make good use of orange too ;)

You could sandwich the orange strips between black and white strips, cut triangles and play with putting them together again in various formats. It would make a cute pieced backing for a Halloween quilt.

Try orange, rose, soft purple, with touches of aqua on a pale yellow background.

Use some of the strips as narrow borders/flanges in other quilts.
Are the wide enough for bindings?

Wow, I think you have a treasure!

And orange is not a color I will be using as a rule.
A little maybe for scrappys, but not a whole bagful... Any suggestions of what I could put with orange to make it less.... orange? and not look like the 70's. lol.
I have a great suggestion....put white with it and make a Tennessee Volunteer quilt. All my guys would love that, they went to UT!

    Roll Tide! (crimson and white)
I was going to say that one of us National Champions Auburn fans would love them if they are the right color orange. War Eagle! Hee! Hee! Chicago Bears are also navy and orange. The Gators are more of a royal blue, I think. Do you have any friends who are fans? You could add the other color strips to make a nice random pattern.

Use them for scrapy quilting. I will tell you that no matter how many you do they never seem to go down in amount. Could be cause you need to stop buying. huh. :)

Actually blue is the compliment of orange(directly across from each other on the color wheel) which means they make each other pop.
But I think because you added the yellow and off white, which are so close to orange on the wheel..I think that would make the blue sing the loudest lol..Depending on the amount of blue too...I think it'll be really pretty (smile)

I like your orange quilt wildyard! And I came a little too late to the party...I was totally in love with those orange batik strips you had... I was looking over at my stash for possible trading before I got to the end of this thread lol
And stitchinjoy, your Pineapple Blossomquilt is gorgeous
