Go to the search engine on this page. Type in orange and you might be inspired by one of the quilts that show up in the search results.

If you are not inspired to make another orange quilt, then I'm sure you could sell them on this board.

Use them for a scrappy border for a scrappy quilt, or as someone else mentioned-narrow borders around a scrappy quilt. I think you might be surprised what it adds to something done scrappy.

I am not sure if my friend will see this but I am sure she would say orange and brown = Cleveland Browns! LOL

Depeding on the "flavor" (modern, traditional, prints) I might be interested in buying some. What size are the strips? The hubby is going to UF, and I would love to make him a gator quilt.

For you and anyone else interested, the strips are mixed widths, none less than 1 1/4" and none more than 2 1/2", I think. I am pretty sure there are no 3" in there but certainly none wider than that. Most are cut from men's cotton shirts, but a few have some polyester blend. Most are plaids and stripes. There are some others mixed in from remnants, etc. that I purchased and from pieces I was gifted from friends here on the board! :D
This attached photo shows the colors as used in the quilt for my DGS.

Thinking from a purely colour point of view, green and purple are the two colours which compliment orange. Or you could use just blues. Both these colourways work with orange if you check your full colour wheel, just a thought.

Yes, I used green and blue in the quilt to add some other color and interest and to help me get away from the orange. LOL.
So for those of you interested, for buying or trading for orange strips, would I need to sort them into widths and colors or would you take hodge podge? For the quilt, I mixed them all up in the bag and just reached in and grabbed a strip. If I need to sort them, would I need to sort by both color and width, or just one or the other?
