Struggling to line up offset lozenges
I am making a lozenges quilt but I don't want to sew the blocks together on the long side, I want to stagger them like brickwork. I am having trouble lining up the diagonal seams as they obviously lie in opposite directions when the blocks are pinned right sides together. I was wondering if anyone else has done this before and can suggest an easy way to do it? I can only find this one example of the layout I am trying to describe:

I have sewn the lozenges together on the short sides to make all my strips. Any suggestions would be appreciated
Thank you!

that's a beautiful quilt. if i were trying to do something like that i think i would add the triangles to the lozenges in long strips then join the strips together. pinning or glue or epp. process would depend on size of small triangles.

I think I would have pieced this in blocks: snowball in two corners and the put the blocks on point. I suggest measuring how far down you want them staggered. Then you can measure and pin as you go. Slow and steady wins the race!

Oh my gosh soccertxim you're right! Didn't even see that! Had to look at the picture, tilt my head, squint a bit and then it became as clear as day! Oh well, I know for the next one For this one though, it will have to be trial and error with LOTS of pins! Thanks for the suggestions everyone!
