    Default Suggestions for jelly rolls

I'm bored with what I've been doing with jelly rolls. Have made several of Trip Around the World and just finished a top from my leaders and enders, squares alternating bright colors and various charcoal-on-black. (I do a lot of stuff with black as a background.) I've also done French braid and Sister's Choice a couple of times.

I have two jelly rolls that are begging to be done something with, one in reds, oranges, and golds, the other in blues.

So what do you like to do with them?

Have you looked at any Cozy Quilt Design Strip Club videos. Many lovely patterns and all designed to work with strip sets.

The reds, oranges and golds might make a pretty fall quilt but I am no good on patterns. When I am stuck on what to make with certain sizes, I go to Pinterest and type in "jelly roll patterns" for example. Good luck on your decision and I am sure you will get a lot of ideas from everyone here.

Strip Twist is one of my favorite jelly roll quilts. It's kind of an optical illusion if you do it right.

I like this pattern too. Besure to alternate light and dark strips.

MSQC has so many patterns using jelly rolls. This one would probably be lovely in the reds, oranges and golds. https://www.missouriquiltco.com/shop...-missouri-star

North Star is beautiful in blues. https://www.missouriquiltco.com/shop...-missouri-star

Ribbon Star is on my bucket list. https://www.missouriquiltco.com/shop...missouri-star-

If you search MQSC website for jelly roll patterns, you will find so many patterns. https://www.missouriquiltco.com/shop...patternspage=1 You don't need to buy the patterns either. They always have a free video tutorial for each pattern.

I would suggest the rail fence. I also have done the two step by Jenny Doan. These are fun and easy to sew.

Jenny Doan has a Youtube video called "Morning Star" that uses a jelly roll.
