You could pad and cover a large 3 ring loose-leaf book and fill it with plastic folders for her patterns and ideas. Add a
pencil holder that attaches to the rings and put in a small pair of scissors. Great fabric, btw, very happy looking!

An apron. It could be an apron when sewing or one for cooking

What about the spool of thread blocks. The thread part of the spool could be this fabric or your coordinating fabrics, or thiss could be the border. Otherwise an apron or thread catcher pin cushion could be cute.

Someone else suggested an apron; I agree. A tote would be great. Also, hot pads or mitts.

I agree with Tartan - something to cover the machine would look very nice!

I like the sewing machine cover idea. I saw one the other day that had a pocket along the front where you could keep a few things handy and I would make that pocket in a coordination fabric. I also liked the idea of large yellow cording that someone had. This looks like fun to me.

All suggestions given are some of what I had in mind, if it as for me, I would love to have a tote with inside pockets to carry my quilting stuff in when I travel or go to class.
