I hope the learning curve isn't too bad. I'm in the middle of FM a lap quilt for my mom who is 89 so I don't know how much time I have. Lol! I'm trading in the Janome so I won't have a machine I'm used to.

Thanks for all your comments---Kathy

I have 2 Pfaffs, the newest is the 1475CD, but it is old now. They just won't wear out. And I love the threading --always works perfectly...and the IDT is wonderful. Your built in walking foot!!! I sure hope this new model has that feature. Congrats--you're gonna love it.

Always exciting to get a new machine. (I get excited about our vintage ones). Practice on some scraps and I'm sure your fmq will be as good as ever.

How exciting! My Pfaffs are my favorite machines (better not let my Brother and old Singers hear me say that). The Quilt Expression 4.0 is my newest and most favorite, which looks similar to your new one. Hope you enjoy yours as much!!!

Aren't these husbands just something? Mine got me a Sweet Sixteen for Christmas. I'm just about ready to give it a try for the first time. Enjoy your new machine as I know I will mine.

How exciting for you!! What is the harp space( not sure if that's the right term), of your new Pfaff?
