Oh my! Done that with hitting the wrong button. Hope you like your new machine. Hopefully someone is at home to receive it? Enjoy the rest of your vacation!

What a fun mistake. I just started out with a few colors of thread and added to it as I had the $$$. Enjoy!

Congrats on your new machine. I have done the hit the wrong button thing too!

I use Isacord thread on my machine and managed to get some great deals on ebay for partially used spools that had been rewound on smaller ones. It worked out to be about 15% of the cost per meter than I would have spent on the big spools and the thread stitches out very nicely. I have such a wonderful selection now. Then, as I am able, I will buy the regular sized spools. Just got a great selection of Robison thread the same way. Haven't used it yet, but the lady I got it from owns an embroidery business, so I anticipate it will work well. I also think that Brother puts out their own thread, but don't know anything about it.

Good luck, and enjoy!

I did that once and almost bought TWO dehydrators at 300 a pop instead of one! A panicked call to the manufacturer resolved what would have been a VERY costly surprise gift for our friends. Afterall, you don't need TWO dehydrators!
Happy it was a fun machine for you to boo-boo on!! Show us some projects once you get started!!

I'm so glad you wanted one! Ebay isn't exactly one of those easy return places lol.

You are going to have a blast with it though.
I get my needles through discountembroiderysupply - they are way cheaper than getting them at the store - and they will fit your regular sewing machine as well :)
Thread? You can get some on ebay as well cheaper than you can at the stores/dealers... you might need to accidentally click on a thread auction :D

stabilizers - depending on what you are going to be making - you can get them at all sorts of places...

Well, it was meant to be. Now you have a new machine. Start with a few threads and gradually buy more. And most of all.....have fun with your new machine.
