I live in Vancouver WA, and as an FYI I went to HF today and they had LOADS of the rotary blades! So if anyone in PDX or nearby has been looking you can find them there.

Anyways, I know some of you had purchased suction cup handles for rulers, and I couldn't find anything except a GIANT version for a car windshield. Those of you who bought one of these, would you mind better describing or posting a picture?

    Thanks!

What address in Vancouver?! Last year the one near Van Mall had never heard of them! Sure would love to save the shipping charges!

    Hi Beth,

The mini suction cup is the same as the small suction cups at the quilt stores that are purple. I have one and I use it all the time. HF should have the refill blades in packages for purchase that work in our rotary cutters. You should not have to buy the carpet cutter to get the blades. Please be aware though that the blades are very very sharp. IMHO I think they are much sharper starting than our quilting brand blades.

Always be careful when cutting your fabric. Don't cut when you're tired as I did and ended up cutting myself. It's better to go rest, get some sleep and start again the next day when you're rested and fresh.

    Have a Great Quilty Day!

Yup its the one near the mall, in the shopping center with Target right off of SR 500. They had at least 15 on the hook and I bought 5.

I will see if I can find the suction cups tomorrow when I go back to use my 20% coupon to get a shelf greenhouse (only $30!).

I love me some Harbor Freight!

They are awesome finds. Just a word of precaution, the magnetic wrist band may mess up your sewing machine if it is computerized. Computerized machines will "go down" and the screen becomes a pixel fantasy land when near too strong magnets.
