While up in Portland we stopped in Harbor Freight and I bought a few packs of those rotary blades we all love.

The cashier asked me who keeps buying all these and what are they using them for?........LOL

I told him quilters do because they are cheaper than the name brand and work just as well. Then I told him I was responsible for the run on the blades, I said, "We quilters love bargains so we can spend more money on fabric!".......he just chuckled.

I checked at my HF at least a dozen times and they were always out, and finally about 3 weeks again when I was there I got lucky and was able to pick up 7 packages. I cleaned out their shelf ....hee hee.

The nearest HF to me is about a 4 hour drive. I guess it's pay shipping. LOL

When they ask me I just tell them I'm getting them for my son who installs carpet. I don't want them to go up on them because the quilters are useing the blades.
