This little "switch" on the underside of the presser foot lifter is set to allow the foot to stay just above the fabric when you change directions (swivel) while sewing. You have to push it as you raise the foot.
Question: Is there a way to leave it set that way as, for instance, you do a lot of changing directions while sewing around flowers, etc.?
It's handy, but to have to reset it every time I change direction, sometimes after only an inch of sewing, is a darn nuisance!! It seems to switch off when you lower the foot to the fabric surface. :?: :?: :?:
