I have VISTA too, worked for me, I just used the ALT key with my left hand and numbers from the keypad on the right, you have to release the ALT key before it shows up. Hope this helps!

These keys work on some computers, depending on your programing. On others:
Degree is Alt 0186 and Cent is Alt 0162.
Hope that these alternate keys will be found to work for some of you.

º ¢ Oh my the things we learn on the QB! In word I use the insert symbols app, but when out of the program it is spell time. Thank you so much. Wrote it down next to computer, now to keep up with the piece of paper. LOL
